Mr. Greenbean is an Indian Ring-Neck Parrot. Greenbean is multi-lingual, speaking English, Dog (several dialects, including Shar-Pei), Cat, Budgie, various songbird dialects and of course, Parrot.

We don't understand many of the things that Mr. Greenbean says, because we don't speak parrot, budgie, or such. We do understand most of what he says in English. Of course his name, "Mr. Greenbean", but other things he says are rather odd. "I am not a chicken!", "No herbs and spices for me.", "Here, Kitty, Kitty", and "I love popcorn." spout from his beak at the most unexpected times. He also whistles songs. He whistles the theme from The Andy Griffith Show, and the single phrase You just don't know about me from the song "Irreplacable" by Beyonce. He will also utter an occasional wolf whistle when a pretty lady walks by.
We rehomed Greenbean to have more time with our Shar-pei. He has a great home with Joe and his wife, Marion. We have heard from them several times. It is great to hear how excited they are about their new bird. We are very comfortable that Greenbean has a great home.

Old dogs, like old shoes, are comfortable. They might be a bit out of shape and a little worn around the edges, but they fit well. |
